Ahoy Shipmates

As you probably maybe aware from my previous post I am a secret numbers and statistics man and today with the Veteran Models “Ultimate” detail set story I posted my 400th news story here at modelshipwrights.

The point of this post is not to boast as others like Kenny Loup and Mark R. Smith have certainly posted far more news stories than I ever will and are simply stuff legends are made of.

Nor am I seeking any accolades at all.

What I do want to say is to say once again thanks publicly to the modelshipwright staff for giving me the chance to become a news writer here at modelshipwrights and in particular Messrs Mark R. Smith and Kenny Loup. I still thoroughly enjoy every minute of being a news writer for this site and I still treat it as a true privilege. I have certainly learnt a lot along the way about myself and the hobby.

Also again a huge thanks to the forum members for all their support and to whom I deliver these stories on behalf off. As I have stated before I certainly strive very hard everyday to deliver the latest news stories in a professional, accurate and prompt manner in a truly dedicated effort to keep you all fully up to date with kitset releases from all around the world.

It does only feel like yesterday I was celebrating my 300th story.

Again thanks to everyone.

Congratulations, Mr. Ford, on the big 400 mate, great job!

I firmly believe that we at MSW have some of the most dedicated and knowledgeable bunch of salts on staff, all in a complete volunteer status...we do what we do for the love of the hobby, and for KitMaker together, to continue to build one of the most comprehensive websites around, all genre specific wrapped up into one network...truly a great place to be!

Our News Team here at MSW have a large job on their hands on a daily basis (as demonstrated by Sean's very spot on breakdown! ), and as a former News Editor myself, I can sincerely understand the hurdles of the position...often a thankless job, but take it away, and a very large hole would be created in our gathering spot!

So in closing, I want to thank you, Mr. Ford, for your continuance in providing us with great, up to date News stories on a constant, keep it up! And oh yes, what Gator said...

Cheers,
~Gunny

More coffee, so you don´t have to waste so much time on sleeping

On another note, its seams that here is a steady stream of features ticking in, all of a very high quality and all potential "time robber" taking away valuable modelling time.

Its very nice with a steady and higl level of activity, even if it putting a stain on the men in the boilerroom

Good work all of you guys!

Cheers/Jann

Hi Sean

As usual... the non-visible work!
People (members and visitors) perhaps don't just understand the amount of (volunteer) work done to have all the goodies online!
I know what you have been doing and I want to Congratulate you on a GOOD JOB

Cheers and keep up (we need a coffee icon)

26 minutes for your computer to start up? Sounds like mine.

2 hours before your second cup of coffee? I have my second cup in about 10 minutes. My wife can't understand how I can drink it so fast but when you've had as many cups as me go cold you drink it while it's hot.

I was wondering when you were going to have some time to model.

Congratulations on the milestone.

Thanks Guy

Coffee - I try to only drink it in the morning if I can.

Modelling time well anyone who has been following my Airfix E-Boat build can testify to my lack of progress/modelling time. LOL

In that I love the privilege of being a news reporter here.

Cheers

Congratulations!

The "more coffee" idea is good. 30 mins for breakfast is too much, 10-15, and 5 if you make breakfast just a cup of coffee (saves time and is a boost!)

See above for dinner..an hour? too much, too much...
