I am currently awaiting Flagman's 1/350 Type VIIC-41 U-Boat to arrive in the mail. While browsing around for a review of the kit, I found it has optional markings for a post WW2 Soviet boat. Im leaning toward building this option when I start building the kit. However the problem arises that I have yet any references to the any of the three boats in question beyond that they were given to the Soviets as reparations and the boats themselves were renamed S-81 thru S-83. But that is as much as I got after three days of fairly intense searching around online....

So Im just curious to see if anyone on here has any other information on any of those three boats in question or knows of any reference sources that would. I am mainly searching to see if they retained the same armament and radio set-up in Soviet service as they did in German.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
