it is suggested that i post this here. i am proposing a pearl harbor 2010 campaign. this is one that could encompass all fields. subjects could include ships, aircraft, figures, auto, armor, and dios. both military and civillian subjects can be found.

the proposed campaign is here:

I never get tired of this topic, but slightly more than four months to finish a ship project is tough!

thanks for the help kenny. karl i have been thinking about the length. i know ships take a bit more time, the rigging alone would take me years. thinking of starting beginning of june. would that be enough time?

Hi Joe!

Well, the start time is fine. How about having the conclusion in June 2011? The West Virginia was the last of the salvaged ships brought up and that was in June 1942, so having 12 full months for such a busy campaign would work.

karl i am a creature of habit. i like the end date to be the day of the attack. the only worry with me about a year long campaign is that to me that is much too much time. the campaign will go stale. to be honest six months seems long to me. however i can see the point of extending the build for those wishing to enter a ship. i have a great deal of respect for shipbuilders and the work they do. i believe a timeline of june 7 to dec 7 might work.

Hi Joe!

Sure, June to December will work, too. I think I'll tackle an aircraft dio or two....
