I've already commented on the Pennsylvania on another thread. Now as to that Long Beach, I'm not into 1/700, nor modern ships, but being as how I grew up outside Long Beach attention must be paid. I might wait awhile to see if they come out with her in a proper scale, but I'll probably add her to the stash.

It dawned on me while driving tonight: DML makes a very nice 1/700 scale USS Pennsylvania 1944 rig, now they come out with a 1/350. Hmmm... they also make a very nice 1/700 scale USS Juneau, might they come out with a 1/350 one? Hope, hope, hope.

very nice offerings; would be great if they give the ship kits the CH "treatement" that armor kits get (metal barrels, PE, good tracks, etc).

Does anyone know what happened to Pennsylvania? I thought it was supposed to come out last year or the beginning of this year???

The 1/700th Long Beach has been around for some time, or is this the ship in a later / earlier fit?

Jason: No word on the Pennsylvania, although it looks like the kit is a bit closer to release. I believe they are holding off on production until enough preorders have been placed.
Si: Yes it has been. This news article was released nearly two and a half years ago.
