Where do I begin to build a small 1-144 part of a flight deck, the idea being, this is a transport dock that carries tanks, vehicles and helicopters, I have often seen the square looking dioramas painted up like a small section of decking like on a carrier. I would want this is 1-144 scale and wanted to know how I actually went about building such a diorama base for said craft, look forward to your reply.

Alec if what your after is a WWII flight deck then 'Sweet' make a 1/144 USN and IJN wooden flight deck for their range of aircraft. Stockist of the range in the UK can be a problem though.
Great thing with their deck is you can keep adding on sections to get the length you need.

While that is a great bit of unknown information, I honestly would like to know how to build my own, but that did sound like a great idea of adding on decking pieces.
