An awesome job, and a great review. I'm glad you feel it's a good project for "newbies" to get their feet wet. Sometimes, to a novice, the 1/700 scale ship can seem pretty daunting...and tiny!

I just bought this kit yesterday. It is my 1st 1:700 scale attempt. I hope I do half as good as you did on this. It is a beautiful build. Seeing these pics gives me a little more confidence on the work ahead of me. Great job! One question though. How did you make the railings and the rigging?
