Hello,
I'm building Hobbyboss 1/700 I-400 and while it is nicely detailed, I'd like to upgrade it with some PE.
I had in mind updating triple 25 mm guns and maybe some mast details as well. Lionroar, Flyhawk and Voyager? too have some AA guns sets but which one to choose? Also there seems to be some general item sets but I have no idea if those are any helpful.

Hi Niko:

For the triple 25mm's I would suggest using the Finemolds guns. The only thing you have to do is paint them, and clip them from the sprue, and install!

They are the closest thing to photoetch out there. You can get them from www.hlj.com aka (HobbyLinkJapan).

I think the best 700 Scale items I have seen are from Veteran Models. They simply stunning renditions. They also do 1-350 which have to be seen to be believed.....Cheers Mark
