Some people couldn't do this good in 1-72 , however to be harsh, while using a dark wash the S-100's are not really in their true colours, don't get me wrong I believe a fantastic job has been achieved here especially in 1-700, of late, to get the best shading and Hollywood look a lot of builders have come away from the reality of these fine surface craft, and one last note, while looking at the photo's is great, how on earth did he manage to make those parts he used to build the S-100's ? I have MTB and S-100 all in 1-700 and they don't come with photoetch, not in my kit, I would love to see a step by step guide on how these 2 little marvels were put together. Here is a scary thought, while we've seen Kostas Katseas and some 1st rate builds, I believe we have still to see him at his best, some time ago I commented ''He is already good, but has anyone noticed he's actually getting better ?'' high sea, crashing bow waves and 1-350 3-D figures ''painted'' now 2 S-100's fully loaded, I suspect sooner or later we'll be looking at a gobsmacking diorama.

Incredible detail for such tiny models, really superb work. I doubt i'll ever touch 1/700 as its just too small for my skill level but certainly in awe of what you can achieve. I do believe the wash you have used is important at this scale so as to enhance what natural light can not at this scale to pick out details. Looks about right to me. Top work sir, a pleasure to view...
