In his debut to ship modeling, and to MSW, António Marranita (tmarranita) shares an extremely impressive display of both modeling skill and artistry, in his complete scratchbuild of the HMS Urge (N17) Conning tower, vignette style, in this MSW Feature!

Great, simply great model building at its best! And oddly enough I was only watching the old film Cockleshell Heroes, staring Trevor Howard yesterday when they were using a submarine for training with camo canoes...oh yeah darn good film wot wot !

This is a type of modeling project I enjoy most: unique subject, lots of research, attention to detail, and careful production from one step to another.

I am also relieved that my shipyard is not the only one with so busy a background!

beautiful work, good scratchbuild and a unique and fine subject - you have the right to be proud!

A bit too clean for my taste, but it might be the light at the photographing.

Congratulation on holding on, despite the "riveting" task, it payed off!

Hi António!!

First, sorry for the late reply...
Second, you already know my feelings about the HMS Urge CT
