Hi!

I'm building a 1/700 USS Santa Fe - CL60. And am trying to figure out what the ships' layout was in March 1945.

I'm using the Skywave/Pit Road kit. The Santa Fe was one of the earlier "round bridge" Cleveland Class Cruisers. But, it had been modified with some (but not all) of the modifications that appear on the later "square bridge" Cleveland's. (specifically AA additions and romoved boat cranes)

I have found pretty good shots of both the early and late type Clevelands on www.navsource.org But, the pictures of the Santa Fe during early '45 are just clear enough to show that it had SOME upgrades, but not quite enough detail for me to see which upgrades.

Is there a good source for this type of info? Or with a ship like this that made few pit stops, am I just up the creek?

Thanks for any assistance!

- Steve
