If there are two things I don't like about this hobby its aircraft carrier's and submarines, although I have brought and built submarines there has never been anything to capture my attention of wanting to buy another one. Until now that is, a great review and even better looking model and a ''very well done'' for that, I can see a diorama of this sub with figures here and there, the model itself has some very good details, and if I find one cheap enough, no doubt I'll buy it.

Great looking kit, interseting subject, and a nice size. looks like another owne for the Loft insulation

I think I might have gotten a Seehund from the same batch at plasticmodelbouw.nl They were gone in a couple of hours if I remember correctly.

I love your finish on the sub ... I'm in the process of finishing mine
(pictures to be seen on a small blog I just started, http://tf-stryker1.blogspot.com/search/label/Seehund) ... as you see I've taken an artistic deviation on the torpedo's ... I had some alcad around that I wanted to test ...
Not sure though how I will further finish/weather it.

I like your build nice pre-shading and paintjob. Regarding the torpedoes, I´m not by any means an expert, but there seems to have been a great deal of variaty - allso depending on type and usage.

As late war as the Seehund is, a bare metal finish is propably not unrealistic.

Thanks for your review your Sub looks great.

But I have a problem with the torpedo's I was thinking that the where the same G7 type that the germans did use on the S-boote.
But they have a diferend diameter and the ruder lay out is also of a diferend type.
Is any of you aware of this and can explain the diferance.
