Hello,

I am new to this site but wanted to introduce myself and our club. My Name is Chuck Passaro and I have been modelling for decades like many of you. I model mostly wooden sailing ships from about 1800. I design kits for Model Shipways and recently completed one for the US BRIG SYREN 1803.

In addition to that I just completed a website launch for our shipmodel club. We are located in New Jersey, USA and meet on the fourth Tuesday of every month. We have close to 80 members who build plastic, wood, and card ,odels from ancientsail through modern warships of all classes.

I would like to invite all of you to browse our club site and we welcome all ne members as well.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I am sure it will be fun here. I am working on a prototype model for the Continental Frigate Confederacy right now. Its just starting to get to the fun parts. Here are a couple of photos.
