A very brave attempt to capture fire and smoke within a diorama, I cannot quite remember the name of the ship or person - however this diorama was actually lit with LCD so the fire looked cookingly good. I can see you've had a very good look at explosions and how that crack of lighening appears within the big BANG for that fleeting moment, I would like to see more pix, and if you're forgive me for saying, by your photo's you seem concerned in showing the whole diorama, whereas with something like this, parts of the ship on fire erupting into flame and smoke, another angle showing very much the same and leave the rest to the imagination of the viewer, I am quite sure people will ask for more pix. Very nice diorama, shock waves also good, okay enough already I'm going ---------------------------- 1st class work mate !

Dramatic!!!...but why is HOOD doing a wheelie?

A most interesting interpretation of the Hood's destruction employing some classic kits of the Hood and Prince of Wales. The tortured water is practically alive and the shell splashes are suitably menacing. The fire and smoke effects are dramatic, and the production of fire rings from the POW's secondary battery are novel indeed.

The multi-engined aircraft at low level near the Hood is a mystery, however?

I am working a Hood destruction scene myself and I know how particularly challenging her fatal blast is to depict, given the nature of her conflagration. This diorama is most instructive.
