Hello all.

I am new to ships and have recently bought some kits i would like to build. and i like to , build all my kits with a certain actual event, I have been researching over a week for the NATO ships that were in OP Allied Force. The 2 in ? are the HMS Newcastle D87 and the USS. Peterson DD969 ( supposed flagship) im almost 99% sure on her, a friend of mine was on Gonzales and said she was around with a Spainish ship that he said was a Perry Class and some other ships he said hes never seen. Can anyone help me confirm ive searched the Nato sites and im coming up short even pics and navsource. I am grateful. thanks
Thunder.

Hi Eugene

First of all, sorry for the late reply
I may be of some assistance, but I will definitely need a little more details... and I will explain:
- Year of exercise (it may help to id particular ships)
- Area of the exercise was held (it will ID nationalities)

As for the Spanish frigates, even if it is in spanish and in 1/350, you can see the particularities of these FFG:
F86 Canarias

I don't know what scale you intend to make your builds... I am guessing 1/700 You can easily scale it down to modify the 1/700 scale OHP kit

Looking forward for your answer to check the rest of the vessels
Cheers
Rui

PS: I know I was not in the exercise, although I had a few with HMS York D98, HMS Phoebe F42, HMCS Saguenay DDH206, USS King DDG41, USS Preble DDG46, Extremadura F75, USS Thorn DD988... etc etc - during the XX century

EDIT: if it is a Peary instead of a Perry here's another link F72 Andalucia
