Is anyone aware of a source for dimensioned drawings for the 4"/50 (4-in/50-cal) surface Naval Deck Gun and mount? I am interested in modeling the gun both in 1/72 scale (along with a Wickes Class destroyer) and in a custom scale where I can chamber a .38 special cartridge (.357 dia proj) in the cannon. With a bore of .357 a scale 4"/50 caliber would result in a barrel length of 17.85 inches.

Similarly I am also interested in scale drawings of the 3"/23-caliber naval gun and mount.

Michael, I would try Floating Drydock for those drawings.

For an external scale layout (as opposed to manufacturer's blueprints) you can look up the Anatomy of the Ship edition of HMS Campbelltown by Al Ross.

Thanks to you both for the sources.
