With an SRP running about 10% of the kit price, that's real value.

I wish the Akagi set had that philosophy....

That is because the Hasegawa sets offer far greater detail than the Trumpeter upgrade sets. I have the one for the HMS Hood from Trumpeter and it is just some props and gun barrels, whereas the Hasegawa Akagi sets have everything, including the kitchen sink!!

I pre ordered mine through Hobbysearch in Japan and they list a release date of October of this year. Other sites show the kit coming out in November of this year. Not sure when it will arrive in Poland. Hope this helps you out.. Jon
