As a follow on from a previous question I have decided to go for the Trumpeter 1/350 Nimitz with WEM PE but after checking all my ref material I need some airwing help.

I would like to build the kit with an airwing containing both RA-5C and F-14A's, now did these two ever fly in the same airwing from a Nimitz class and if so any details?

Like I say my own ref came up empty but I did find a picture of USS America with both types on deck so here's hoping.

I haven't been on the site in quite some time, so I apologize if you've already gotten the answer to your question. The good news is, the answer is yes, but only one deployment and only on CVN-68, the Nimitz herself.
