What wonderful work, and with such delicate assemblies. One reason I like working in the larger sales is the ease of installing parts, but Jan, even though it's 1:350, you've selected a subject that's practically 1:700! My compliments on your skill and patience.

very well done Jan! Great construction and overall effect. I like the "waterbase on top of wood" base idea, presentation-wise. Cheers

Ahoy Jan,
Excellent diorama!.....a simply but very effective presentation.
I agree that the Tamiya figures are a little "gingerbread man".
Have you seen the GOFFY Naval figures in 1:350?
They are excellent in my opinion....just bought some for a project.
Again, super job on that dio.
PS...........How does "Seeaufklärung" translate?
Cheers,
Joe

Thanks guys, and thanks Mark for posting and naming it, a little slip from my side
The AFV subs are a delight in detail, but I can well imagine that the rudder and screw arrangement is a very fiddly build.
I havent put a ruler to these kits so I can´t comment on how the measure out - but the sure looks great. I have the Gato 41 underways from HLJ right now - that will be interesting to see.
I will look into those Goffy figures - or the fujimi - which I believe is also excellent.
Cheers/Jan

My pleasure as always, Jan...the name just seemed to feel "right" for the scene, which actually was the very first thought that entered my mind when I first took a look at the submission...so I couldn't resist!
Looking forward to seeing your next build as well, mate!
Cheers,
~Gunny

Hi Jan
Sorry for the late reply!
Nice composition and interesting meeting between the Arado and the U-boot!
Another suggestion on the figurines: L'Arsenal
I also have the Goffy figurines and they look like real people, not scare crows
BZ
Cheers,
Rui
