Hi all.

Here is my completed 1/400 Queen Mary 2 from Revell. I used the GMM PE set with the kit as the GMM railings are much finer than the railings supplied by Revell, but full marks for Revell for at least trying. I still have 200 or so pieces of deck furniture to fold bu that will have to wait for another day.

That danged stabiliser just won't stay retracted..

Beautiful build Warren, the deck furniture will drive you batty though methinks.
Not to mention the little PE bikini ladies
The azipods are supposed to great for manoeuvering the Queen around but it still looks very vulnerable to me sticking out beneath the hull like that.
cheers,
Julian

Thanks for that Julian.

I agree about the azipods. I was reading how Cunard, or whoever owns them at the moment, are sueing Rolls-Royce (the azipod builders) as they are having big problems with them and everytime on eof the suspect parts fails they have to put the ship into dry dock to remove and replace the failed pod.

Not at all happy from what I have read.

I will post an update when the deck furniture is finished.. eventually..
