If anyone has the ICM Seehund in 1/72 scale you'll realize the bitter disappointment of the solid color dome on the hatch when it should be clear. Does anyone know of a quick, easy, and cheap fix for this? The clear dome, slightly flattened, should be app. 4mm, or 3/8" in diameter.

Find a BB ball, a sheet of clear styrene and a moderate heat source - place the BB ball on at stick - heat the sheet to it turns soft, pull it slowly down over the BB ball, cut and trim and you should have the dome ready.

Hello Biggles2,
I have made a couple of them. You can pick one up along with a capsule at
HJ on Friday or Saturday.
Cheers,
Joe
