I am long time air and armor who would like to try some 1/350 ships. In particular, I would like to model the Kangaroo, which I understand was a converted Liberty ship. A photo of the lead ship in the IX class, USS Armadillo appears to have same lines as Trumpeter's 1/350 Liberty models.

Can anyone suggest reference sources that would enable me to learn more about this class, especially 1944-46 fit?
