I moved this to a public forum (from our Contributors Forum) as I think these items may temp a few of you who haven't written a review before (or in the last year) to give it a go.

Thanks,
Jim

Hi Jim

I'd be tempted to do the Destroyer, I should have some good references. Same goes for the aircraft carrier, although I'm not sure about the references...

Cheers!
Stefan

PS: Postage on me as always...

I am surprised somebody has not jumped on the Indy.

Its a great kit for somebody to get their feet wet on a review.

I just checked this afternoon, actually I do have reference for light carriers so I could do either one.

Cheers!

Hi Stefan,
I can send you the CVL-22, but the box it definitely over-sized (and heavy). The shipping cost will be very $$$ for overseas.

What is involved in a review? I consider myself a capable (and average) modeler. I'd be up to try.

Here's one I did a few years back:
https://modelshipwrights.kitmaker.net/review/713

Basically shoot photos, give impressions. Be thorough with the photos so the reader gets a good overall sense of what they get, both in terms of trees and detail shots of parts. Give you impressions, I.E. "this part made me want to bash my head into the workbench," or "OH THANK YOU, MY LIFE IS COMPLETE!!!*"

John,

To be honest it is a little scary at first, but when you get into to things it is a great deal of fun. I will be happy to lend any help I can. We always like getting more and more of our members involved. So, go ahead and do it!

All you really need it a digital camera, a clean background, and some free time to write and research. Plus, be honest!

Sounds great. If you're still looking for a reviewer, sign me up! I'm looking to get cracking on one of those carriers!

The book is going out to Jan and the CVL to Stefan. That still leaves the DD-805 for those still interested.

Thanks for your requests! If you didn't get something this time around keep trying and you will.

Cheers,
Jim
