Happy New Year to everyone!
I´m thinking of buying the 1/200 Sovremenny Class from Trumpeter.
Is anyone there with experiences with that kit?
Is it good?

Hello Evgenij, the 1/200 Sovremenny kit was one of Trumpeters' earlier efforts and actually established the company with model makers outside China. It will build into a nice kit, but there are numerous inaccuracies and omissions which may or may not give you cause for concern. WEM produces both resin replacement parts for the two main cannon, plus a fairly extensive PE set that are pretty much must-haves for a build. I've included a link to Guido Hopp's build article, which goes over most of the basics you'll want to know:

There are numerous sources for reference pictures. Bear in mind that each ship in the class had variations and there is no "standard" that you can follow for a generic ship of the class. Most of the pics you will find will be of the 956E variety, so bear that in mind when you begin. Trumpeter makes both the 956 and 956E versions in 1/200. Cheers, Doug

Well thx.
I've got one now:-)
It's huge! There are some accuracity problems with the windows, they are placed too high. Pretty much filling and sanding will be needed where the deck joins the hull, but all in one its looks great.
I'll try some stressed skin effects on it
