Just posting some efforts of mine from about 20 years ago. My Dad was a Marine Guard on the USS Washington and I built these two old Revell kits to represent BB55 & BB56. I built them aux-natural as I had done two others of BB56 in MS camouflage for the North Atlantic with the Tirpitz and the South Pacific (Aoshima Kit?)with the Kirisima in the same layout as these. When my dad passed away I gave the two inaction dioramas to the Marine recruiters in Grand Jct. CO.
I kept these for the sentimental value. Admittedly their not my best builds as they are pretty much OOB. Anyway thanks for looking.
Here is abit of history on the moulds. Originally these were Renwal kits and were sold to Revell in the late 50's.
