Just a warning, based on the line art he's provided, he's missing the second cat. The deck will work for 1943 though. Additionally, the kit was designed for a 1943 fit, so if the builder wants to do 1944 there are other changes that will need to be made to the island and area under the forward flight deck overhang.

Very nice looking decks. I know there are starting to get more and more of these from all sorts of companies.
Wish I had either kit and the deck to go with it.

Looks nice, but I wonder how it attaches to the DML Independence kit. The DML deck is quite a large casting with many details on the side and I can't imagine it's just a replacement part. Hopefully more pics will enlighten us soon...
