The IJN Katori was the lead ship in her class among 3 sister ships IJN Kashii and this model I have built IJN Kashima, one of a few light cruisers to make it through WW2 being finally sold for scrap in 1947.
This is also probably the shortist light cruiser that still carried an aircraft.
The backdrop is made from common wallpaper pasted together by my good lady wife, the dockyard diorama is my design of a re-usuable diorama based on several segments.
The whole building of the dockyard can be seen on the other site, step by step and almost finished.
The model of the Kashima is basically the same as the other 3 models, being one of three sister ships that's hardly news lol, its just a nice little model that goes together trouble free, I hope you enjoy these photo's.
