I am building the trumpeter 1/350 North Carolina and the box and decals got water damaged in my basement.
Does anyone know where I could get another set of decals? I was trying to contact Trumpeter, but I could not figure out exactly how to do it. All I need are the "55" decals for the hull.
Any help appreciated.

Hi Greg
If the decal sheet is just yellowed you should try to scan it and then print it on a clear decal sheet
http://www.decalpaper.com/Default.asp?Redirected=Y
If I were you I would try
I know, is not so easy , but I believe that's the only way (except, of course, handpainting all the insignas...)
Good luck

Unfortunately the decals were ruined when they got wet. So I don't think that will work. thanks for the idea though.
Is there any place that would sell a generic sheet of 1/350 WWII ship numbers in different sizes? If there is I figure I could get real close to the original decals.

Yankee Modelworks at squadron Unfortunately they are out of stock, but do a search for vendors of Yankee Modelworks kits and decals.

Thanks.
