Hi
Im looking for reference regarding the german U-Boot type XXII- i.e. drawings, plans, or just general info. I need this to make the scale replica of this boat.

While I donīt know any specific sites dealing in detail with the XXIII theres a lot of material to be found with a google search.
If you want to go shopping then "Vom original zum modell" on the type XXIII would be a good place to begin - it can be found on Amazon.de
theres also a number of builds on this site to be inspired from.
What scale are you planning on doing ?

I would guess that the book is sufficient for the basic outline and dimensions - when it comes to details like weldseams, rivets and general layout of floodholes only pictures of the subject you are going to build will help you - and only just so much - theres plenty of room for guesswork
Especially the turret layout varied alot - are you aiming for a speciffic boat or e more generic design ?
