Here is a funny little story, about 5 days ago I came down with the flu, and not wanting to take on something complex and brain numbing I came across this model in my stash, containing only a few parts and having no knowledge of where or how this found its way into my stash, I thought this will keep my hand in so to speak, with some advise from JB this little 1-400 turned out to be a nice looking ship, a little scratch build here and there, and weathering that I carried past the waterline along with a worn/missing decal I believe this along with my flu is slowly getting better.

The bridge windows were cut out and I glazed these, althouigh you can see these, they are not easy to spot (all depending on the direction of the light) the catwalk around the bridge - more like the Great Wall of China was removed and a more thinner better look achieved via tarpaulin over rail, a secondary wheel house added to the aft quarter quite a heavy weathering system used inc smoke pigment for the 2 smaokers.
Still - if you have a comment, love to hear all about it.

V-106
On the strength of the first I decided to buy another kit, the major problem is, its from Poland, and their shipping is -------------- well less said the better, I have also be informed that one of these V-105 through V-108 was black, and considering I've never built and painted a complete black ship before, I am just wondering how much history to this there actually is.

Alec - I have a few of those Mirage kits in my stash; I get them from Squadron USA, they usually have a few of them on sale every month (including the subs). Not sure how much is shipping to your side of the pond.
