Being a dio builder normally I'm taking a plunge into a ship scratch build. My question is, how do I go about finding line drawings and stats or some type of plans for the aircraft carrier Yorktown W.W.II. I'd like to do a section from the water line to the upper section of the island. The pics I have are not that good and I would like to have this section showing the roll up door open to show a plane inside the hanger bay. I intend to do this in 1/32 scale to handle the planes I have. Any help from you guys is much appriciated as I'm stuck with just the bad photos I have and I'd really like to be as accurate as possible. Thanks in advance for any help. bob d.

Roger, that.

See if your local library has a copy of Friedman's carrier book - lots of good info.
