Any news on the release date of the WEM 1/200th Arizona PE set? My revell Fletcher is nearly on finals and I am considering blogging an Arizona build as my next project.

If I recall correctly it is listed on thier official To-Do list, but nothing firm as far as release date.

A blog on that would be WONDERFUL!!!

BTW, your Fletcher, has been great, I expect a feature on that too!!

Good morning Jim, think I need to finish off that IJN Haruna feature first
The Revell Fletcher is a nice model to build, but a PE set is necessary to add a bit of detailing. Most intimidating part was picking the colors: I was expecting a lot of flak from some of the more "riveting" members of the community but it has stayed quiet so far
cheers,
Julian

I talked to Dave last week and he said the AZ PE is in the works now and we should expect release within a span of 2 months. However he asked our patience and not to hold the breath because of the big number of releases this year. Mad Pete seems to be jumping between projects right now, so one wouldn't be able to make proper promises these days concerning release dates. AZ does have high priority, but of cause good things take good time, as always.

Thanks Guido, I can understand their problem. A lot of new, good models have been released and the after market guys have to play catch up all the time.
I still have a few weeks build on the Fletcher left
cheers,
Julian

Rather than posting on a forum, I'd advise going straight to the source: WEM's News page:

It ain't that they're not for questions. It's just amazing to me that people will constantly ask the same question over and over again when the news is already posted elsewhere .... it's like spam to me.

I can understand for those that have never heard of White Ensign before or might conceptually not get that they have a web site. But for the rest... really? You couldn't take the time to look your self and expected other people to take their time*?

*Note that I"m not lumping people here in any group... I'm just saying that time is precious and please think of others when it's something that a 5-second google search can take care of.

Sheesh, sorry for spamming you. Don't bother answering, you might waste another 5 seconds.

Seriously, I'm not trying to annoy you, but clearly I'm doing it wrong, so I'll just go away for a while.

Okay, maybe I am over reacting to your mails too Tracy. I'll back off as well on this one. No hard feelings, I'll Google before posting in future

if your looking for a highly detailed PE set for the 1/200 Arizona look at the set from MK1. You can find it on Ebay. It is expensive but it comes with a wood deck as well. This set is up there with lionroar, and flyhawk for quality.
