While ever watchful for surface craft, there was a vast number of aircraft and armour which for some of them, were out of this world, even a 7 foot long Star Wars model, I entered the show, failed to be placed, but the overwhelming amount of people commenting on my 2 dioramas hand on heart, was well worth the effort in attending.
The model shop, that was a hive of activity and although I only brought pigment paints, I managed to get a few pound knocked off, last year and I am still kicking myself, there was a plastic 1-700 dreadnought, and for just over £21.00, I thought a little on the expensive side. Yeah I should have snapped his arm off, I haven'y seen nothing like it since.
Telford is BIG and the last 2 times I went a ton of people, again, not many ships more aircraft and tanks, I like Hendon, its 30 odd minutes down the M25 and A1, the thing I hate most about it, is the lighting, Hendon is terible for taking photo's, but everything considered, pound for pound, I'll take Hendon with its fewer people and fewer models.
That was my 3rd year in a trot, and I am already looking forward to next year, and maybe this time, I might win a place, you never know.
Many thanks for the comment, as you no doubt arevaware, it takes a while to upload all those photo's.
