I am looking for info and scale drawings from the Union Navy Monitor of the civil war.

A quick google search came up with this. http://www.history.navy.mil/photos/images/h50000/h50954.jpg There are also several sites that sell plans for her, but they can be expensive, up to $40 USD.

A little off subject, but Lindberg actually did a little diorama set with the Moniter and the Merimack ( pardon any errors on names).

These civil war ships are pretty nice. I really like Battle Axe's USS Monitor.
