Can someone tell me the best way to join brass rod? I want to scratch a tripod mast, and gluing doesnt work well, as it leaves blobs. I guess soldering would work, but Ive never done it. Is there a tutorial about joining brass or soldering?

The judicious and rather sparing use of epoxy will also yield acceptable results, especially once paint is applied. Much stronger than CA and white glue. I've used it with great success on masts.
