And another nice build ! You would appear to be using the Eduard PE set here,

You did an excellent job on the radar on the forward rangefinder That nearly stopped my Fletcher build

Stef, that's some nice work! I've got the 1/144 Fletcher in my stash and I'm excited about building her. I've got to get a couple of minor projects and one major project completed before I start on her, but I'm really looking forward to working on her. I'm debating building her with the 40 mm mount on the fantail, but haven't decided for sure. I did go ahead and invest in the resin 5/38 mounts. Hope they were worth it.

Looking good Stef, try a burnt umber oil wash to blend the two colours in a bit.

Stef, haven't been on lately due to a hectic work and family schedule (hate it when the real world interferes with my hobby!). Just saw your new work on Fletcher. Hull weather looks great, very impressive. Hope you'll post some more if you try that wash.
