Greetings fellow Shipmates!
I recently got hold of one of these again after selling my original about 8 years ago. I started studying the instructions last night but can't for the life of me understand how to make the shrouds using the jig that comes with the kit. Can anyone explain it to me step-by-step.
Also, I would like to use real wood, or resin, pulleys etc an was wondering if anyone knows of a source for these items.
I am looking forward to building this ship but want to make sure I have everything I need BEFORE I start..
Cheers and thanks in advance.
Warren

Hello Warren,
Try micro-Mark. The web -site is www.micromark.com. They have a lot of items for wooden ships and might have what you are looking for.

Just had another look and found a little place called Billings Boats USA. They have everything I need by the look of it! Dead eyes, blocks belaying pins..
Will check the Heller ones first but I think the Billings ones may be a bit better, and it is very easy to make real wood look like wood..
