Hi guys ! I have been posting to the Aeroscale section of this site for sometime now but my interest in modeling is not only limited to that genre.
In my long life of modeling since 1948 (I'm 70) I have been involved in most aspects of the modeling world. This internet world only came to me late in life so I may not be up to speed on that aspect.
Modeling was, in my day, pretty much a solitary hobby using snail mail and magazines to stay in contact with what others were doing.Imagine how I feel today ? Glad I lived long enough to see our community come together like it has.
In the last 10 years or so I have been doing 1/16th and 1/24 scale dioramas that incorporate a lot of different types of models and modeling skills, from kits to scratch.I hope that you guys get something out of my posts, so here we go..

Hi John!

Yes, the Information Age has impacted our hobby, for the better, I would agree.

Do you have any other pics of your large Victory?

My victory model is a 90% scratchbuilt, decorative, diorama type model that was built over a period of many years and finally finished in the year 2000.
