Hello there, can someone please tell me what aircraft Warspite carried during 1944 ? Some said Warrus and some said Fairly F-111 seaplane ? and others said scout plane.
The old Airfix instruction sheet is in black and white, almost as much use as a one legged man in a bum kicking contest, but the guide calls for Humbrol 73 matt wine, this is a redish brown and looking at the drawing, there's quite a lot of it covering the decking, the rest of the deck is suppose to be 103 which is cream matt, again in my view these colours are way to light and bright, the superstructure I can agree with being 64 light grey matt and 106 ocean grey, But none to sure about the brighter colours.

Hello Alec,
My Jane's shows that the aircraft were removed in 1943. Before that that had Warrus Seaplanes.
The Drawings I have show the deck as a cream/very,very light gray mix.
I think I might be able to scan the drawings for you. The largest will be in 2 parts.
Do you want me to try to get the scans and post them?
Let me know,
Cheers,
Bruce

Hello Alec,
I will see if my cousin can do them tonight or tomorrow morning. She is not feeling well and I am taking her to the Doc's tomorrow afternoon.
I will get them up as soon as I can,
Cheers,
Bruce

Hello Alec,
Here they are. You will have to put the 2 together as they would not scan as 1,

I hope this will help you.
She did the best she could with the that large book.
Cheers,
Bruce
