This is the Pit-Road/Trumpeter collaboration on the Cannon class Destroyer Escort - it reuses many of Trumpeters "England" parts and ad some which alters it to a Cannon class.

Its a "Last battle under the orion" special (Movie).

I have added oilcanning on the hull, and must shamefully confess to a grave mistake - hope you guys can forgive me... - the horizontal lines in the canning should rum parallel with the deck and not the waterline - thats whats comes from working somewhere without your references.

I am currently waiting for a etch set, so progress until arrival will be slow.

Looking mightily fine from here!
Never mind the little glitch!

The canning looks great Jan. Doubt that anybody except the "Experten" will notice the blooper.

Thanks guys, I“m for sure not going to redo it - even if oilcanning it wasn“t as difficult as I feared.

Having received my etch from Toms I have been working more on this little DE - the anti-slip on the deck is decals from Lįrsenal.

Question: the area between bridge and funnel looks quite bare, and my references are not that good, as to say for certain whats supposed to be there - but one picture seems to indicate a training gun ??

The Cannon and the Atherton, tantalisingly close but not clear enough to see what is between the bridge and the stack Jan Looks more like some sort of small boat storage than a loading machine but with this resolution it could be anything.

Thanks Julian, as you already have noted, its hard to see exactly what goes on in that area - on most pictures it just looks like a mess...
