Why isn't there more WWll era accesories available in 1/350 such as tugs, barges, tenders, etc. and dockyard stuff such as cranes, RR equipment, vehicles, etc? All these items are well covered in 1/700. Wouldn't they be just as well recieved as their smaller scale counterparts?

There are some 350 tugs coming, but they are not ready yet. As for cranes and the such, I am not totally sure. .

Where are the tugs coming from? Are they generic (applicable to any nationality), or based on prototypes?

BattleFleet has mentioned they are going to be making 350 tugs based on their 700 scale line. They do make a couple of 350 kits now. i believe they are American.

Another company is working on 100z5 totally new tugs, but they are still in the prototype stage. That is all I can say about those at this time.
