Awesome build, great work on the watereffects - especially the splashes from the floodholes - very nice colors on the boats and seascape.
Well done - thanks for sharing!

This is one of the best rough water dioramas I've seen. The hull placements are realistic, the stretches of open water are well-colored and rendered in 3 dimensions, and the interplay between the decks and choppy water are expertly executed.
A truly ingenious use of small subjects!

Straight from the film "Das Boot". The best portrayal of heavy weather at sea I have ever seen in a film. Werner, you have really done that scene justice with your build: the mountainous North Atlantic swell, the sullen grey/green colour of the sea and the boats having a hellish time making way through it all. Absolutely magnificent work, a definite prize winner IMHO,

Really nice display. It hints at the fact that in the Battle of the Atlantic, the battleground was just as dangerous as battle itself.

haunting. Very moving use of mood and water effects.
