Very nice work, Francisco.

Will look great when it is all painted!

What kit are you using? and the figures?

Cheers,
Joe

It's the WCM kit, otherwise known to me before I bought in out of impulse at my local hobby shop for a very low price. From what I've read, it's similar to Mirage kits. They require some work but they're alright. The figure were sculpted with Magic Sculpt 2 part putty.

Ahoy Francisco,

Cheers,
Joe

I'm affraid I lost them during the period that this sub spent in my spares box, after I abandoned the project. I'll have to dig a bit deeper because I think they'd look cool and give a sense of scale to the rest.

I initially planed to represent the sub in your signature but I think I'll use the Revell 1/350 kit for that, which looks much better.

Ahoy Francisco,
Yes, I agree that the Revell VIIC is highly detailed.....an excellent model.
Also you probably already know that AFV and Hobby Boss make many
1:350 scale subs in the VII and IX variants.
Mirage has also released new moulding in this scale but I don't know
how they compare, I have yet to buy one.
Also I have come to find out that L'Arsensel and Joffy make excellent figures
in this scale, to populate these subs.
Cheers,
Joe

Very nice, the final colors on the water looks splendid along the rustic base - I also like the way the water sweeps over the aft without hiding it completely.

Well done Francisco!

I'm very impressed with this. Looks fantastic. Normally I'm on Armorama but since my High School's wifi blocks it I'm on here and wanting to build a ship again.

Thank you for your words. I don't usually build ships but I'm on my 4 or 5th right now. Good for a change but I'll build anything anyway, I love building scale models
