I bought the FlyHawk set for Trumpeter Prinz Eugen. The etching is sharp and well detailed, but the instructions are vague in places such as the multiple folds of the many radar arrays, and the placement of 4 different types of railing - there is no mention of railing in the instructions at all. The main selling point of the FlyHawk set for me was the inclusion of turned gun barrels for 8", and 10.5 cm AA.

Ship!! That would more than triple the price of the kit.. And it would be nice if they could update their website a bit more often....

Silly question, on the z39 & z25 sets the majority of the decks etched, why? most of them don't seem to provide any additional detail.

about the decks:
I hope they did not include the infamous 1/350 "tear plating"...
I have not seen any manufacturer, PE, resin nor plastic who put it right ...
Multiply by 350 and you get ripples about 5 to 10 times out of scale)
I'd rather have plain decks, maybe with just the lines of the plating visible.
