This is my take on the Italeri Biber Daniel:

it's not a real camo, a what if Baltic idea.
cheers,

Fantastic Daniel, I will have to remember the transparent blue trick, looks great. What did you use ? I see it is Testors acrylic but did you use that or ink or did you thin it? It reminds me of Humbrol "Gunmetal" enamel. It had a very blue coloured sheen.
Cheers,
Julian

Great Julian!!!
Good the transparent blue achieves inking with this Testor's blue and brilliant clear. And you prove many ahead. In the photos one does not see like in the reality. The effect is very good

Avery fine job on the boat it self my compliments for that.
But I have some problems with the torpedo's you did give them a wear or a kind of weathering.
This is not right in my point of view the torpedo's came out of the torpedo-bunker just before a attack planned so the would look like new and fresh with a oily layer on the skin.
So no wear on them, only if it is a sub that did stay over a longer period month's or even years would give a wear on the torpedo.

On the pictures I see that the torpedo's are not in the right position.
The right position is with the rudders in vertical and horizontal position, this is a mistake of Italeri mounting the rudders in a 45 degree position to horizontal and the vertical line.
They did that also on the S-100 so keep that in mind when you are glueing the torpedo to the rails.

Sorry I did mean to write "a Sub that is for more than month's or even years in the water then the torpedo's will have a wear or weathering, but not when they come out of the magazine.
When returning from a sortie out on the north sea unsuccessful the torpedo will we out of the water for service and maintenance.

Thank you Albert!!
If the topic spoils of the torpedoes it is a freedom (not royal) . But I like give him this aspect, and if it takes an engrease which I it will meet on " MIG's Grease stain mixture "
One question happens to me?? That were done by the torpedoes that were going out in operations and were not used? They would re-be in use so often he needed not??
The maintenance serious in his mobile parts and head of detonations etc etc but would they paint the body always??
Would some wear, rayons etc etc suffer??
At the end of the war they were worrying about this

You have reason in which Italeri's position is not correct!!
Dont worry for the position of my torpedoes they are stuck by " UHU patafix " that way I can extract and put them

Best regards
Daniel

A riveting tale Daniel. Albert is correct that the torpedoes were very well maintained but the outside would probably get rather scratched and abused due to this maintenance. I'll see if I can find any photos. I noticed that my torpedoes are fitted incorrectly as well
cheers,
Julian

Thank you friend for the images!!
I return to say that the condition of my torpedoes is for carelessly am not very careful ..... jajajjaja This is a free representation and that does not have for that to be the royal thing.

Im integrated of " U-Historias.com " and recommend this article about the German Torpedoes of the WWII
