Greetings All,
I'm building the Trumpeter 1/700 Admiral Hipper, and was wondering about her colors. She is variously shown with red and yellow turrets, depending on the time-frame. Does anyone know the appropriate colors to use? I generally use Tamiya acryliacs, but any starting color reference will be helpful.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Scott
Have a look here:
http://www.admiral-hipper-class.dk/admiral_hipper/admiral_hipper_menu.html
under miscellaneous you can find all paint schemes of Hipper.
The colored turret roofs were only temporary identification measures for own aircraft and used during some operations e.g. "Weseruebung"
Hope that helps
