They look good Michael, especially the flesh-tones. But the loader on the 40mm looks as if he is wearing lipstick. Mix some flesh in with the color you used for his lips to lighten them. Looking forward to seeing more of your build. Al

Thanks Tom,
The arms have been sawn off at the sleeves ,slightly rotated and glued back into place.I was trying to give the 50 cal gunner to be resting his arms on the 50 cal with the right hand about to cock the 50 cal.

The only other figures needing alterations are on the bofors seated gun crew.
The arms have to be extended for the handles and 1 leg of the gun crew had to be cut a re-postioned back into the foot pedal.

Thanks Al,
The flash on the camera has made all the figures look bright on the flesh tones. It also highlighted some of the uniforms where I did a black wash where it looks a little el crapo .
I've gone back over the crew guys again after the photos have been posted.

Thanks for your comments.

Hello again,
Back from a break going back to armour subjects the Pt is back on the workbench , the hull has received a coat of Tamiya flat red, first coat .this has just been sanded back with a fine grade 1200 sandpaper ready for a second coat .
This plastic seems to absorb the paints ,both enamel and acrylics.
I had to go back over the lockers and platforms to give a second coat of Tamiya dark green ,the first coat seemed to get sucked up.

Hi Michael,

Excellent work, looking good. One suggestion you might think about is that as the rear bofors crew are going into action, you might consider swinging the forward guns around to support what could be a air attack. I imagine that all available firepower would be brought to bear on a target and it would help to add a sense of cohesion to the actions of the crew.

Other than that looks like a cracking build. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers

Al

Thanks Alan for the kind words .

I unfortunately glued the gun in place for a model comp recently
I didn't want the gun being moved around. The flag pole limits the traversing of the bofors.

You know what it's like at model shows and people want to play with the model

I'll get some more detailed photos and submit them to the shipmakers model gallery

Best

Michael
