Mr. Carabott, You MUST feel that this is your best work to date. The apex of a stellar career in modeling.
I would call it a "dioramic masterpiece" and a benchmark for both art and workmanship. A fine example of talent, attention to detail and patience.
The world will notice, kind sir.

while this is outstanding work on so many different elevations of the build, each craft heli and even crew highly detailed, what does Lou have to say about his build ? Is this the best you have built to date ? I feel this isn't so much a diorama, but a master piece of work that each element could be removed and you'd still have a great looking USS Wasp, a combo of other dioramas are seemingly screaming out, air sea rescue, landing craft and hover craft skipping over the sea, strapped by space and time this dio could easily expand into a world all of its own, and there'd still be something to be seen.
Without placing my head on the chopping block, when I look at a diorama, a dockyard or flat top, I mentally remove those item to see the ship and what it would be like sitting on its own. Believe me I get disappointed, especially from those that have been in this hobby a good few years (each to their own eh) I'll stick by my guns and say, in this case of this dio, the air arm and smaller craft could be whipped off and you'll still have a great looking subject, the green light just gives it more of something special.
You're going to cut square holes in resin in one go, chop things up and re-build in an instant, then put everything together and go ''cocked that up'' in this case its strangely gone from strength to strength.
I believe this isn't something to be pleased about, rather proud I'd say.
Well done sir, nar, its much more then a well done !

I only just noticed this and it's absolutely fantastic! I'm speechless... One day there has to be a Louis Carabott Museum and I'd go to Malta just for that!

Unbelievable, just like the USS Enterprise in the Smithsonian in 1/100 scale, yours needs to be in there with it to compliment each other.
All the best,

I believe that some of us are still trying to find words for this Louis, I know mine certainly fall short. I'll have to leave it at simply stunning

Spectacular! The water is the best I've seen. Is there a "how to" on this aspect somewhere?
