In a hope to make things easier to understand, we have edited the forum names to reflect (in the name) what the forum is about. While I was fond of my quaint names from 2006 or so they really did hinder quick recognition of what was in each forum. Hopefully the new names will fix that.
Also we will now be posting all new content additions to the site in the "New Content" forum to keep the other forums focused on member postings of questions, blogs, and tips.
Thanks,
Jim

It is indeed subtle Mark, but you'll notice it quickly if you are trying to search for something or posting an article. The old names were very well tied in to the maritime theme here, but could come across slightly ambiguous to some. The new names are much more straight forward, hopefully making it easier for anyone to utilize them.
