The time has come to organise myself to build the 1/350 Trumpeter USS Nimitz I have had in my stash for many moons now.
Nowadays, I don't even consider building a ship unless I have a PE set to replace the chunky plastic parts provided. To this end I have been perusing the internet for many months to determine which are the best PE sets to get for the big CVN, WEM or GMM.
I already have the air-wing PE so that is not required, but WEM have a single set of PE with two frets and GMM have two sets of PE. Total price of the two GMM frets will be in the region of AU$90 which I find reasonable for all the PE you get, but only about AU$60 for the WEM fret. My question is, are the two GMM frets worth the extra over the WEM set? Do the GMM sets give lots more details than the smaller WEM set or are they just extras for different carriers?

Your help in this matter will be most appreciated.
