Nipped out to the LHS as they were open today to pick some paints etc up and they had the Airfix 1/350 type 45. Although the construction looks odd (But then it does have an odd shaped superstructure) The moulding is very good, better than the Illustrious, and will hold it's own against the trumpy Type 23. Excellent looking decal sheet, with hull numbers, crests & Name plates for all 6 ships, including the big red dragon for a time painted on the Bows of HMS Dragon. A fewpics of what you get.

£49.99, could probably available for a bit less, but she is quite a big beast, and I couldn't resist it. WEM's etch is now to be ordered. will post the build when I get round to her.

Good morning Simon,
looks interesting and crispy new. Bet a lot of builders will opt for the dragon (if only in honour of SWMBO)

It's too bad the class doesn't have a HMS Battleaxe....
